Part A
Select a multinational organisation and critically examine the overall corporate behaviour through using a silent and shadow account (Dey, 2007). Information is derived from the company (website, annual reports etc.) to construct a ‘silent account’ of the company conduct. Secondly, this ‘silent account’ is contrasted with information derived from public sources (newspapers, non-governmental organizations etc.), which forms a ‘shadow account’. Explore, discuss and critically evaluate the CSR issues particular to the multinational organisation within this format using a wide range of sources (http://www.1daixie.com/liuxueshengzuoye/Adams and Laing, 2000) and drawing upon lecture material as theoretical underpinning. The word count of Part A is 2500 words.
