1. Using appropriate academic models and concepts, identify Google’s core competences and capabilities and discuss their effectiveness in supporting Google’s 2004-09 expansion programme.

2. To what extent do you think the success of Google can be explained by the concept of Blue Ocean Strategy (Kim and Mauborgne, 2005).
