2. If only you INVEST and your counterpart does NOT INVEST, your counterpart has 20 out of 100 chances to loss 10000 pounds from the fire. Meanwhile, although you spend 1850£ on installing the alarm, you have 20 out of 100 chances to have an additional loss 5000£ from the fire due to contagion.
There are 80 out 100 chances for your counterpart loss 0£ from the fire and 80 out 100 chances for you loss 0£. Meanwhile, you certainly cost 1850£.
3. If you do NOT INVEST and your counterpart INVESTS, you have 20 out of 100 chances to loss 10000£ from the fire. Meanwhile, although your counterpart certainly spends 1850£ on installing the alarm, your counterpart has 20 out of 100 chances to loss additional 5000£ from the fire due to contagion.
