You should not contain design at this stage but you should identify the different stages and tasks of the design work and timing of these. You may produce diagrams to explain yourself. You may also state what material assets you might expect from your client and when you would need them. You need to describe what you intend to produce and to what quality. This might mean a rough initial design or a final design fit for production or distribution. You should also state how and when it will be delivered. If you feel you need to produce a list you should also justify why items are on the list. (1000 – 2000 words)

You must also produce a design portfolio. This must include both project development planning and design work up to pre-production stage. The design work must put forward two different solutions.

Once you have produced your design portfolio you must produce a critical evaluation of both designs, considering the strengths and weaknesses of them. You should consider both the strengths of the design ideas and how they might influence the choice of a final design.
